A Rainy Lazy Day

Saturday, October 25, 2008

After leaving High Point, NC for Holland, MI, rain all the way. Cascadia handled well on rain slick roads.  I was glad to get 8.0 mpg and feeling of security with the way Cascadia handled. Glad to see sun shine in Indy.  The clean emission is one of the most important things of concern for my family…got to think about these grandsons you know!

Charlotte Lowes Nascar October 08

Sunday, October 12, 2008

We had a wonderful weekend in Charlotte. It was amazing meeting the drivers and being in the pits. We would like to thank Freightliner for everything. Along the way, we were fortunate enough to also meet some behind the scenes people such as Mattie Gilchrist. She is a part of the wait staff at the Embassy suites. We feel it is people like Mattie that make the difference. All in all, our weekend was incredible.

It is unfortunate that all our pictures from our Charlotte trip were inadvertantly deleted.  We had some good pics of the drivers and cars and also our new friend Mattie.  Mattie if you read this, send us a picture to post.

Almost heaven West Virginia

Friday, October 10, 2008

Just like the song,”almost heaven West Virginia”, you can not beleive the vast beauty of this country and especially Virginia and West.  Through rolling hills of all the colors of fall was indeed a beauty to behold.  Everyone needs to come see this to believe.  Awsome pictures did not take.  come see for yourself.

On our way to Charlotte for nascar.  Hope I have some awsome pics to post.
