Attitude and Work Ethics

Sunday, November 22, 2009

A professional driver MUST maintain a positive attitude and work ethic at all times. Negative attitudes cause negative actions and reactions, which causes accidents, wrong turns, mistakes in all aspects, and general non -careing and non -compliance. It is the negativity in truckers that spurns the public attitude toward our profession. If you can not obtain and maintain a positive attitude, you may need to re-think this profession or your attitude.
Until next time be safe.

Heading to the Chicago Area

Thursday, November 19, 2009

Hi Folks! going to the Chicago Il. area this is not my cup of tea, but I guess it will work out. At least the weather is still half way nice, a littlle chilly but I can live with that. If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, the CASCADIA will get a wash job. I ran in rain this week and it does get dirty. I have had the CASCADIA on the road for fifteen months and looking around, I have not had to replace the wipers or any bulbs or lens I think this is great, as a rule wipers and bulbs don’t last that long.

The DD15

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

Hi folks! I thought it is about time to talk about my power plant. The DD15, 125,000 miles now. I haven’t had to add any oil between changes. I have changed fuel filters only one time between changes. I have the CASCADIA greased every 10 to 20 days all depends on how much rain I run into. And I am still getting 7.4 on M.P.G. This has proven to be a great power plant.
