Dick McCorkle

Dick McCorkle, who works for Perkins Specialized Transportation in Noblesville, IN, has been a driver for 44 years. Snow Storm After Snow Storm »

Blizzard of 2010

Hi folks!
Well , folks I have been in several bad storms. In 1978, of course…”The blizzard!” being the worst. We used to have reaL bad winters with lots of heavy snows. I ran several noreasters when I was delivering New York City. But what I have been in the last three days, BAD is not a good word. I really feel bad for the people living on the east coast. There is nothing a person can do, stay home and eat, I guess. I have seen so many wrecks I cant even remember. The worst being at the 105 mile marker on I 80 in Pennsylvania.The radio station said fifty car pile up and five tractor trailers.This by far is the worst storm I’ve been in.
