Winter Storm Warning

Friday, February 5, 2010

Hi folks!
Wel, I am home and the weather man is calling for a lot of snow. I had to get a windshield replaced on the drivers side, so the Cascadia is in the shop. It will be ready this morning. Stoops Freightliner get you in the shop as quickly as possible. Jeff Jacobs the service manger takes real good care of you.
Until next time be safe.

McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago, IL

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Hi Folks!
It’s been ten years since I’ve been to McCormick Place. Perkins just delivered over 50 loads to the car show. I am amazed that a company can organize this type of operation. The show broke at the Detroit Convention Center. The loads were staged at various places, and we drivers had to move the loads to Chicago. It takes a coordinator, dispatchers, and everyone working together to make this happen. I have delivered a lot of Ford trade shows with 5-10 loads, but i have never been on a detail of this magnitude. I am proud to have taken part in this, and I am proud of my company for the outstanding work. The Cascadia got plenty of looks and plenty of questions. I was glad to answer them.

Until next time, be safe!
