Monteagle Truck Plaza
Hi Folks!
I stopped by Monteagle Truck Stop for lunch today, and was told it is closing this Saturday. I sure hate to hear that it is closing.
I dont know for sure how long it has been open, but I know its been there for the past forty years. I think it was a 76 in the beginning but not sure. It was a good place to eat. After the interstate opened it was about the only truck stop between Nashville,TN. and Chattanooga, TN. When I would be comming out of Chattanooga I aways stopped and it would usually be full of drivers.
I will miss the old truck stop, but like about all the mom and pop stops are gone and it is to bad.
Until next time be safe.

Does anyone know a family-owned and operated truck stop anywhere in the US? Prefer the south, but open to all.
People need to have over-the-top, colorful personalities. It’s for a reality show and I need one GREAT TRUCK STOP!
Please contact me at 213-426-0767. Finder’s fee if we use the truck stop you suggest.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is wonderful blog. An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
