Hi folks!
I know technology is a great thing and there are bugs that have to be worked out. So yesterday I was supposed to be on the Kevin Rutherford Show, well I made it to the show and something happened to the cell phone connection. There I was, had all these things to talk about… the CASCADIA, the Mats. Truck Show in Louisville,Kentucky and couldnt talk about a thing on the radio. The Freightliner booth will have a lot going on this year. The contest winner, who will recieve a new Blutek technology CASCADIA will be chosen, along with the three of us S.O.L. drivers. There will be a forum on Friday the 26th, 2pm till 3pm. with questions and answers. There will be a Nascar event taking place in the booth. The Crome Shop Mafia will be doing a live q and a forum Friday26th. Richard Petty and a show car will be in the booth also. The Paralyzed Veterans of America will be in the booth both Thursday and Saturday selling raffle tickets on a WWII Jeep restored by Richard Petty’s restoration garage. There will also be a Patriotic Cascadia. So it will be a full three days, and something for everyone. Hope to see you there.
Until next time be safe
Dick
Remember-”Being right half the time beats being half-right all the time.”

Hi folks!
Well, folks I have been in Texas for a couple of days and loving every minute. I delivered Fort Bliss At El Paso that is a very large base. The contractor had to lead me around to the different buildings. There are a lot of building going on there, after unloading I reloaded in El Paso for Fort Worth, Tx. And I am delivering this morning. After that I will be on my way to San Antonio and Houston for a load on Monday. Then I will load a show load from Dallas on Tuesday and then I will be on my to Michigan so I will be busy for a while. The Cascadia is doing a great job after pushing snow for a month my m.p.g. is back up to 7.1 which I think is great. I guess tomorrow will be wash day for the Cascadia, if around 4p.m. Saturday you dont have anything to do join in on the Kevin Rutherford Show I will be on at 4p.m.
Until next time be safe.
What a great day it was today,I left southern Indiana to Texarkana, Texas… dry roads. I think nice weather makes a person feel better, at least I feel better and the CASCADIA runs better when its not pushing snow. It has been a hard winter for a lot of people. But we are into March and in three weeks we will be in Louisville, Kentucky at the truck show. And there is so much going on this year with the new driver coming on and new things in the Freightliner booth.
Until next time be safe.

Hi folks!
Well, I went from snow on the east coast to mud in Hamilton, Ohio. Well, I really didnt want to go into this school grounds I dont like getting the CASCADIA in such a mess. When I talked to the group leader on the job he told me there was a blind curve on a small hill and slick with mud. There was another driver in there all ready. So I went over and talked to him he told me he almost got stuck, stay close to the fence and you should be ok.When it came my turn to unload I started back behind the school I saw the blind cruve and then I mashed the throttle down. I slid a little the trailer went to the left a little .The only thing I could do is keep going well the cascadia made it. Needless to say the people were glad I made it.They ask me are you comming back tomorrow. I answered I really like you folks but I dont think I will be back.
Until next time be safe.
I feel sorry for people who have to deal with this stuff. The CASCADIA has handled this winter well. I really am not suprised. I might have some problems getting out of here today. Connecticut is not as bad as New York City, and Jersey, and Pennsylvania but I have to go through them to get going.
Till next time be safe. And I hope you are not in SNOW.
Well, its not the best nite to be unloading, rain and snow, cold wind. The job has to be done after the store closes so we got started at 11pm. It is a slow process one piece at a time. They use a bobcat on the big pcs. But they cant put the bobcat in the trailer, no dock. There are traffic islands, plants, trees, and light poles to work around. The CASCADIA made it a lot easier.

Hi folks!
Just a few words on our health; when our trucks need repair or something else we as drivers get it taken care of. When our bodies need some care we put off going to the doctor, I for one hate it. Well, I have put on a lot of weight and it is a lot easier to put on than take it off. And now our jobs as drivers depend on being healthy and in good shape. I started walking and trying to watch what I eat, taking the weight off is a long time affair but you keed to start somewhere. At Mid -America Trucking Show there is going to be a first annual 1.5 mile walk we can join in. For details and to register check out WWW.driverhealth.org. “This is a plea from driver to driver to get outside of your truck and work towards a healthier lifestyle”, said Linda Caffee professional driver and chairman of the Trucking Solution Health Group.
