Wearing his new 2011 Appreciation Cap.

A Beautiful Fall Day.

Hi Folks!

It has been a good week started off in Indiana to Alabama then to Ohio and back to the south. Listening to Dave Nemo driving a Cascadia it just doesent get any better than that. I handed out some caps  and ink pens to drivers they all liked them. The weather is getting a little cooler its time to check on a few things to make sure you are ready winter. Hope everyone has a great day.

Until next time be safe.

2011 DRIVER APPRECIATION CAPS.

Hi Folks!

While delivering in the Birmingham, AL area,  I met quite a few drivers.  I showed the Cascadia… most of the interest was  on the quietness and how roomy  the cab is with its large entry doors.   The fuel economy is 7.3 m.p.g. as of today.  I also stopped at the Petro in Glendale,KY and got a real friendly welcome.   I gave out the red appreciation caps to the drivers.

Look for me on the road or in a truck stop, I  will be in the Cascadia, running the “Red, White, an Blue!!!

Until next time be safe.

Tradeshows are once again moving.

Hi Folks!

I once again welcome the tradeshow business.  I enjoy the tradeshow business,  I get to meet many drivers on the  route.  The tradeshow business requires a lot from the driver delivering or picking up the show .  The driver must be prompt and professional.  This earns the driver the respect of the shipper, which means more business for the driver and the company doing the show.  I have been doing the trade show business for several years.  One of the nations biggest companies always asks for me and that is a good feeling.  I try to maintain that mutual respect.  I will be delivering a new convention center on Monday in the Birmingham, AL area.  The Cascadia gets me in and out of the centers with no problem because of easy maneurvering, and some of these centers are hard to get in and out of, even for an old pro like me.    When I first started the tradeshow business, there were about 13 big shows a year.  Over the years, the tradeshow business has really boomed.  All the big cities now have convention centers,  as well as the major hotels and casinos.  These shows last 3 to 5 days, so my company tries to get me back in the same area to pick the show up. Then I will take the load to a new convention center or back to the origin.   I feel honored to be a part of this business.

Until next time, be safe.

PM Service.

Hi Folks!

While showing the Cascadia in the east last week,  one question stood out.  Driver John DuBois had several questions on the pm service oil filter, fuel filters and miles on the oil change  I told him,  50,000 on the oil change and I hadnt added any oil.  I let him know I was going to have the Cascadia serviced this week and I would blog about it.  So,  John look for the pics  and that will show  just about every thing we talked about.  Also, it only took about an hour to do the pm. Thanks for asking, John.

Until next time be safe.
