Trail Trackers

Monday, September 29, 2008

After three years of hard work my son and I have just finished our first Trail Trackers trip . Trail Trackers is a new venture for us . I will be posting pictures soon. The purpose of this new venture is to take groups of ATV”s to riding area”s that would be to far from the homes of the customers to get to with out taking off too much time from work . All of our customers were satisfied with our service . There is still so much work to be done to make this venture a success.

Flooding

Tuesday, September 16, 2008

My son and I saw a lot of flooding in the midwest today. I`am pleased to report that the more I drive this Cascadia the more I like it. The most important point is, the M.P.G. is continuing to improve. A seven M.P.G. is looking like a acheivable goal.

Wonderful time

Tuesday, September 16, 2008

This Sunday , my son and I left with a load of atv`s. It sure is nice to not be pushed for time and spend some quality time with my son. We are not due to deliver the load till Friday. What makes this trip even better is the fact we wil be vacationing with this group for the week in Utah.

Anniversary

Thursday, September 11, 2008

Yesterday was my wife and I`s anniversary . It seems like it was just yesterday that I married this wonderful woman. She is not only a great wife , she is a great mother and bussiness partner.Much of what I have been able to accomplish in life and bussiness has been from the support that she has given me. I would not have been able to have done it without her . I was lucky freight was slow yesterday , so that we could spend some time together.

Positive image

Monday, September 8, 2008

Today I stopped at a convenience store to get a cup of coffee. When I was leaving,a lady stopped me and asked me if I was driving a truck. I told her that I was. The reason she asked was because I wear a nice professional uniform and neck tie. She then told me that I did not look like a truck driver. This is just one of many reasons that I dress the way that I do. If I had not dressed that way that conversation would not have occurred. I used the opportunity to talk to her about the many positive aspects of the trucking industry. It always gives me pleasure to represent our industry in a positive light .
