Before participating in the "Slice of Life" program, Albert drove a 2001 Freightliner Century Class S/T™, and will use his Cascadia for general freight and a dry van trailer. Albert, who has been a trucker for 26 years, was recognized by Overdrive as its 2007 Trucker of the Year.

I was just informed this morning that I had been elected to serve as a alternate to the board of the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association . My hope is that my service to this organization will benefit my fellow professional drivers . I plan to serve with the same passion that I do in my own business .
