Thinking Of Dave

This morning is turning out to be full of good news as well as sad news . Soon after finding out that I was elected to the board of OOIDA my phone rang again . This time it was news that saddened me . A Friend of mine called to inform me that a mutual friend of ours wife had passed away unexpectedly . It was Dave Sweetmans wife Laurie . Many of you know Dave from his commentary column in Land Line magazine . Dave has always been there as a great ambassador for the the trucking industry . Now he needs our prayers as he goes through this loss in his life . I can not even imagine how he must feel at this moment . While I never personally met Laurie I know from talking to Dave that she meant the world to him . I am sorry for your loss my friend . I will be praying for you .
