Over in my recent pictures there is a picture of a hub cap . Has anybody seen any of these at any of the chrome shops ? I need four of them for my drive axles. If anyone has seen them , click on the comment button and let me know where . Thanks Henry

Cool hub cap photo. Gas foot forward. Hammer Down!

Howdy Henry — Sorry, can’t help you out with any hub caps. But just wanted to say my mom and I heard you on XM radio today and my ears perked up (I’m a dog) when you said Fancy Gap. Ya see, I’m from your neck of the woods but now I have a new life in New England. When I was rescued last year, I lived with a foster dad who was a retired truck driver. He took me to the vets in Statesville who took a bb out of my head and cured my heartworm, and oh yeah neutered me, too. He then helped me find a new home — never thought it would be 1000 miles away, but I’m happy now — still trying to get use to all this snow and -20 degree temps! I’m a far cry from a lost dog in NC now though — back on 9/11/08 I became a Certified Therapy Dog and now visit veterans at the NH Veteran’s Home. If you have a chance, check out my blog (rockytherapydog.blogspot.com) –not when your driving, of course. Sure would like it if you would give Sheila a toot the next time you pass through Fancy Gap — she’s my mom’s late sister and she loved that part of the highway. Aunt Mary dropped a few of her ashes there on our trip north last year. Well, been nice chatting, hope you don’t mind me leaving a message, probably not what you expected — just couldn’t pass up a chance to say hi — don’t hear much about fellow North Carolinians up here (except during Nascar season). Safe travels, Rocky

Freightliners’ Website Advertises A Chrome Trim Package For The Cascadia, But Doesn’t Mention Hub Covers… An Iowa80.com Search Turned Up Nothing.
Personally, I Would Give A Dealership A Call, For Such A New Model, It Will Probably Be More Expensive, But Might Be A Best Bet.
Or If You Prefer The Generic, Off-the-shelf Caps, The Mobile,Alabama TA Shop Helped Me Get The Correct Size For (At Least) My Steer Hubs, Any TA Would Likely Help You.
I Sure Hope You Get Your Truck Dressed Up!

  5. Henry Albert Says:

Rocky , you sound like a cool dog .
