Windy Tuesday

I am on my way to Grain Valley MO to attend the Owner Operator Independant Drivers Association board meetings. The winds have been strong  all the way to Trenton MO.  In route to MO, I had the opportunity to visit with some new friends I met  at Mid America . I enjoyed spending time with Bob and Linda Caffee. I also met with Vince Crisanti. The Caffee’s had their daughter along and it was very nice meeting her as well. She is back from serving in Iraq. The Caffee’s can be proud because there daughter seemed like quite a nice person. Bob and Vince went on a short drive with me in the Cascadia. They enjoyed the quietness of this outstanding truck. It’s always nice to catch up with friends. I’ll keep you posted on my meetings with OOIDA. Take care and be safe.

  1. Linda Caffee Says:

Hey Henry is was great getting to see you again. Vince and Bob are still talking about how quite the truck was and that you could have a normal conversation. They were both wishing you would have been on a rough stretch of road to test the ride. So thank you for stopping and letting us all ask more questions about the Cascadia. We were also not able to see the truck at MATTS and it is really a very striking truck and that Gold and Blue is just awesome. Class Act inside and out.

  2. Linda Caffee Says:

Brandy also was impressed to see what we are looking at for our next truck and to hear about the trucking industry. She also enjoys meeting people we talk about so she can put a face to a name. She has been back from Iraq for about two weeks and is getting back into the swing of things and not living in a tent. We also think she makes an Awesome Captain in the Air Force and that she is involved with Red Horse where she works more with heavy equipment and designing the bigger buildings. She has a civil engineering degree and so also notices lines and angles. She thought the truck and driver were pretty interesting.

  3. Vince Crisanti Says:

Henry, Thanks for taking time to stop by and chat with us. We appreciate your nuggets of information. I am really impressed with the truck. I think the Cascadia is a great truck. I look forward to driving one of my own. When I go to the dealership, I’ll tell them you sent me! Thanks again, Vince
