I hope this will be the first of many annual walks at MATS. Just remember the walk is for fun and you do not have to walk the 1.5 miles, you can go as far as you would like. I would be led to believe that truckers have higher health risks than many of the general public because of the long hours sitting down. This can very easily lead to blood clots in the legs, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. Very cool idea!! What a great idea!
