Mid America Truck Show – 2010

Hello to all,

Well it’s that time of year again that I look forward to. I’m getting ready to attend this years 2010 Mid America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY. The date is March 25-27. I will be going early and should arrive on Wednesday.

I am scheduled to attend various events at the show. On Friday, March 26, I’ll be involved in the first Driver Health Walk. (see previous blog for more information). Be sure to stop by the Freightliner booth, as I’ll be working various hours. Also, you can meet the other Slice of Trucker Life Drivers. Kevin Rutherford will be announcing the new “driver” for the program at the show. He will also be hosting a question and answer session which includes the Slice of Trucker Life Drivers. We will discuss the  Cascadia and the Detroit Diesel DD15 engine. You may also catch Richard Petty at the Freightliner display area.

Each year offers a new opportunity to view the latest technology our industry has to offer. I always enjoy the show and seeing what’s new. It’s also a great place to meet  new friends and catch up with old acquaintances.  For these reasons, I would encourage anyone who has never been to the show to  make the trip to Louisville, KY. For those who will attend, I look forward to seeing you at the show!

Henry
